Getting To Know Your Winterville Police Department

From March 1971 until his retirement June 30, 2001, Art worked throughout the United States investigating organized crime (both traditional and non-traditional), corruption, narcotics, kidnappings, extortion, white-collar crime, bank robberies, and other violations within the FBI's jurisdiction. SA (Ret) Krinsky has extensive experience and expertise in interrogation, and informant and source development. He has also conducted numerous background investigations on behalf of the FBI.

Captain Krinsky is also one of only a select few Special Agents in the history of the FBI awarded the Master Police Instructor designation. He continues to instruct at various law enforcement academies throughout the United States where he teaches an Advanced Interview, Interrogation, and Informant Development course that he developed himself, as well as speaking on other law enforcement and legal topics. He has trained FBI Agents, Agents and Officers of other Federal, State, and local agencies, and served as a guest lecturer and counselor at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia for special training by the FBI Undercover Sensitive Operations Unit. He also continues to lecture to private industry, including foreign multinational corporations, governmental organizations, and Executive MBA candidates, on topics including personnel selection, internal investigations, and corporate security. Art has also served the FBI in the following positions: FBI Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Coordinator, Legal Advisor and Public Information Representative providing seminars and lectures on a variety of topics to public groups on behalf of the FBI as well as serving as a member of the FBI Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT).

Prior to retiring from the Bureau, SA (Ret) Krinsky was assigned to the FBI's Atlanta Division, where he served on a violent crimes major offender squad as well as the Metro Fugitive Task Force sponsored by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Captain Krinsky continued to serve as an Investigator on the Metro Fugitive Squad and joined the Georgia Department of Pardons and Paroles as an Investigator. In this capacity, his duties included conducting fugitive investigations, source and informant development, internal investigations, and security planning and implementation.

Currently SA (Ret) Krinsky is Chief Executive Officer of Arthur L. Krinsky & Associates, Inc. Services provided by his corporation to private sector business and industry, law enforcement, and governmental agencies include: Security Consulting, Private Investigations, Corporate Internal Investigations, Due Diligence and Compliance Investigations, Background Investigations, VIP Protection, Educational Seminars, Design and Implementation of Comprehensive Corporate Training Programs, Standardized Law Enforcement Training, and Business Intelligence investigations conducted throughout the US and in Israel. SA (Ret) Krinsky also serves as a Team Adam Consultant for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), a rapid response and support system providing investigative and technical assistance to local law enforcement in investigating cases of child abduction and sexual exploitation. As a licensed Attorney at Law he provides legal services to Law Enforcement Officers/Agents and Agencies. He also provides expert investigative and consulting services in matters such as Use of Force, Enforcement Policies and Procedures, Employee Assistance, Counter-terrorism, and more. Television appearances include Cold Case Files, Court TV, and CNBC.

Our department considers itself very lucky to have Art Krinsky as one of our dedicated reserve officers. He like so many of our other reserves brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with his fellow officers.
